Congratulations to Sonya Sotomayor, the first Hispanic Supreme Court justice, who was confirmed this past week and sworn in today. A great moment for the Latino community and America in general.
I am originally from Andover, Massachusetts, a suburb outside Boston. I attended Brandeis University from 2000-2004 I worked at Sovereign Bank before coming down to Washington, DC for graduate school. Last May I completed an MPA (Masters in Public Administration) at George Washington University and I work at American Public Power Association, a trade association of municipally-owned utilities in Washington, DC.
