Senator Dodd is retiring
Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd announced on Thursday that he was retiring from the Senate after 30 years. This makes for an important high profile Senate race later this year. There are also a lot of contested elections in Connecticut as a result. I have a friend (from Connecticut) who got an internship with him and while it is not always settling to hear the Senator is retiring, he knows he will have several opportunities to work on a campaign there. If you are looking for a campaign job, this will be the place to go. Dodd's departure also paves the way for a new generation of leadership to enter this seat.
